Yes, we are heartbroken over the loss of Dolly Parton, but she wouldn't want us poutin' about it. She would want us to gather as a community and celebrate. So, that's exactly what we're doing here at Petals and Pines Farm. Come join us as we honor Mrs. Dolly Parton.
About the Celebration of Life:
Date: 9/25 (nine two five...get it?)
Time: 6:00pm-8:00pm (or until dark)
Where: Petals and Pines Farm - Tremonton, UT
Cost: It's free, but EVERYONE needs a ticket! Dolly was about giving back to the community and bringing the community together. That's what this event is about. Coming together. Everyone needs a ticket so we know how many people to expect, and how much banana puddin' to make. That's right...there's going to be banana puddin'.
What's planned? To pay our respects and honor Dolly, everyone will receive a couple of flowers to add to our "Butterfly of Many Colors" ground flower mural. Dolly's music will be playing. A 20ft projector will be playing Dolly videos. We'll setup our 8ft butterfly murals and Dolly photo ops for photos. The firepits will be roaring. Everyone gets a small serving of southern homemade banana puddin', since that was Dolly's favorite dessert.
What to wear? Whatever you'd like. Dress like Dolly. Wear a Dolly t-shirt or sweatshirt. Denim on denim. Rhinestones. Just come as you wish.
Can we pick flowers while there? No. We no longer grow summer flowers for u-pick. We are only opening to host this event.
Is there a bathroom? No. Since we are only opening for this one night for two hours, we will not have a porta potty. There are two gas stations about ten minutes from the farm.
*Everyone needs a ticket to visit the farm. If you decide to not come, please cancel ASAP. We don't want to waste food if we can help it.
