Description

Cincinnati native, Donald Broerman will share an intimate afternoon of music and storytelling as he presents his guitar compositions and the story behind the music he is performing.  Broerman is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) where he earned a BM in Classical Guitar Performance and graduated Magna Cum Laude.  He has also studied Jazz guitar with Mike Denny and Chris Sorenson.  Broerman is an active composer and dedicated pedagogue whose students have won both state and regional gold medals through the Royal Conservatory of Music.  The Greater Cincinnati Guitar Society is thrilled to host this concert as Broerman emerges as a performer after having fearlessly led the Society over the past eight years as President.  Please help us warmly welcome him to the stage as a performer.

Luthier Tom Kerr will also be present at this concert sharing his insight into guitar making as well as some of his hand-made instruments.
