Donation Appointments - Textile Garage Sale - April 2024

Donate your textile and fiber art supplies to Textile Center's April Garage Sale!

Located at Textile Center (3000 University Ave SE)

Donations are accepted by appointment only, with 10 minute time slots on Monday and Tuesday, April 8 + 9, 2024, from 12 - 6 pm.

Select an available time slot and submit information to schedule your donation appointment. One donation appointment per household.  If you have a small amount to donate, please consider coordinating with others to maximize appointment times.

ACCEPTED ITEMS:

• Fabric of all types (must be 18" x 22 minimum)
• Yarn of all types
• Books
• Kits
• Notions
• Patterns
• Roving
• Needlework and Embroidery Supplies
• Small tools and supplies (such as crochet and rug hooks, knitting needles, hoops, scissors, and more)
• Large tools (such as sewing machines, knitting machines, spinning wheels, + looms)

PREPARING YOUR DONATION:

• Prepare your donations in (non-returnable) BOXES or BINS only - no bags will be accepted.
• DO pre-sort donations by category within each box (fabric in one box, yarn in one, books in another, etc).
• DON'T put prices on your donations.
• Place boxes/bins and items to be donated in your trunk or back seat for easy access by our unloaders. 
•  Due to space constraints: No sewing machine cabinets. 

REMINDERS:

• Personal vehicles only - no large trucks, trailers, or commercial vehicles. (Contact ehusted@textilecentermn.org to inquire about a future donation opportunity.)
• In-kind donations are tax-deductible  - your email ticket confirmation acts as your receipt. 
• If you have a small amount to donate, please consider coordinating with others to maximize appointment times.
• NO scraps
• NO finished goods
• NO dirty, moldy or smoke damaged items
• NO broken/non-working machines or tools
• NO magazines, please!
