Description

Dots+Loops is Australia’s post-genre music and arts series, inclusively exploring the spaces in between a traditional classical concert, an underground club gig, and an experimental art show. In this free two-act show experience newly developed works curated specifically for ΩHM.

VESSEL sees violinist Flora Wong and ceramic artist Ruby Yu-Lu Yeh perform a sonic exploration of the process of creating a clay vessel. The experimental work combines the sounds of clay and ceramics with violin and electronics as the two performers play in the meeting place between music and ceramics.

MATERIAL weaves delicate foley, live percussion, droning feedback and pulsing synths together into a seamless performance both contemplative and relentless in equal measures. Created and performed by composer/producer Connor D’Netto and performance artist Yvette Agapow, the collaboration draws on their shared contemporary classical, ambient and noise music practices, meditating on both the materials and the materiality of art and the work of artists.

This is a 'Pay What You Wish' performance.
