DOUG JAMES BENEFIT CONCERT AT THE UPDIKE ROOM
Our dear friend DOUG JAMES has encountered some troubled waters.
Doug has been diagnosed with a cancer - a curable type of cancer, for which he will soon undergo major surgery. Doug has remained strong and stoic throughout his illness. With his wife Lisa by his side, he is determined to beat this illness with a full recovery and return to his robust life and activities. Doug will need to remain out of work and off of the stage for quite some time as he heals. As a lifelong musician, performing for others is his sole source of income. We seek to build him a bridge over these troubled waters by helping him with with expenses.
The lineup includes the who’s who of R&B players in the region.
