Dine under the stars, surrounded by Downtown Oroville’s Historic gold rush era buildings for an exceptional culinary experience. The evening will include live music, raffle prizes, and amazing food!
This Downtown Oroville fundraising event helps fund The Community Christmas Tree Lighting, including free pictures with Santa for community kids!
Tickets: $90, taxes and fees apply online. $85 if you buy a Table of 10.

About The Chef!
Oroville’s very own Trevor Smith! Trever and his wife, Lucky, own Big Reds BBQ and Unicone Ice Cream here in Oroville. He has been cooking in various restaurants in the Sacramento area for nearly 20 years, including Bistro La Petite France, Alexander’s Horseshoe Bar Grill, and the Chef’s Table, specializing in classical French Cuisine. He is now involved in Smoked BBQ for the fun of it. Raised as a son of Oroville, he made his return to live here full-time in 2018 and cares deeply about the local community and helping Butte County flourish.

A French-Inspired Farm-to-Table Dinner
An evening inspired by the rustic flavors of the French countryside and the abundance of our local farms. This thoughtfully curated menu celebrates seasonal produce, locally sourced ingredients, and classic Provençal flavors through a collection of dishes meant to feel both elevated and comfortably rustic.
FIRST TASTES | LOCAL OLIVE TAPENADE
Locally crafted baguette crostini topped with a savory tapenade of locally sourced olives, finished with extra virgin olive oil and fresh microgreens.
| ALMOND-CRUSTED JUMBO PRAWN
A jumbo prawn in a crisp beer batter and toasted almond crust, served over fresh arugula with a sweet and spicy seasonal marmalade.
SALAD | ORCHARD HARVEST
Fresh spinach tossed with crisp apples, dried cranberries and toasted pepitas in a raspberry-hazelnut vinaigrette, finished with a warm goat cheese croquette.
VEGETARIAN | TRADITIONAL RATATOUILLE
A rustic Provençal medley of seasonal summer vegetables slowly braised with tomato, garlic and herbs, served over an aromatic herb rice pilaf.
CHICKEN PROVENÇAL
Bone-in chicken thighs slowly braised in white wine with garlic, shallots, tomatoes, olives, fresh herbs and citrus, accompanied by garlic and onion haricots verts.
BOEUF BOURGUIGNON
Tender beef slowly braised in red wine and rich beef stock with smoky bacon, sweet carrots, pearl onions, mushrooms, garlic and fresh herbs, served over creamy horseradish mashed potatoes.
