Dr. Temple Grandin will be speaking at Tongue River High School on July 7th at 2:00 pm. Doors will open at 1:30 pm.
Dr. Grandin is a Colorado State University Professor of animal sciences and renowned animal behaviorist and autism activist. There will be live music to open the event with Larry Mitchell, Phillip Carleton, and Rollie Hruza playing a few songs. This is a free event although donations are welcome and books will be available for purchase. Donations are tax deductible and checks can be made to SCCC Foundation(Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce P.O. Box 707- Sheridan Wyoming- 82801 REACH).
This opportunity is available due to a partnership with REACH (Resources and Education for Autism in Sheridan County) This is a newly formed organization working towards their non profit status. REACH is having Dr. Grandin speak at the WYO Theater on July 6th at 7:00pm for an Autism awareness fundraiser. Tickets can be purchased in advance from the WYO Theater if you're interested in this event.
Tickets must be reserved by June 23rd.
