Description
Birds are amazing creatures and have featured in art of all kinds for thousands of years. In this online class, join Alex, a bird-lover, to learn about bird anatomy and how to create bird art of your own!
Using your choice of art materials, whether physical media or digital, you will be guided through basic bird anatomy, terminology, and then have the opportunity to work on drawings with live feedback from Alex. You will leave the class with bird knowledge, fun facts, and 2-4 bird sketches.
Attendees will need reliable access to Zoom and drawing tools of their choice.
Alex Kruckenberg (they/them) is a lifelong bird lover, thanks to their parents using a cassette tape of bird calls to put them to sleep as a baby. Since then they have made more art of birds than of anything else.
