Drinks Through the Decades 

Saturday, November 8th, 2025, 8:00-10:00

Step into the past with an immersive tasting event that celebrates the evolution of iconic drinks from centuries gone by. From colonial punches to Prohibition-era cocktails, guests will savor authentic recipes while learning the history and process behind each one. Whether you're a history buff or a cocktail connoisseur, this spirited journey offers a flavorful blend of culture, craft, and conversation!

Tickets are $20.00 each, and include tastings with each of our featured vendors, from wineries to breweries to distilleries.  You can also enjoy a glass of syllabub, a favorite drink of the 16th-19th centuries, courtesy of Historic Rosedale, and have the opportunity to purchase more of your favorite beverage from each vendor.. Spaces are limited, so reserve your slot today and join us for a toast to celebrate these timeless flavors from the past to the present!.

Historic Rosedale Foundation

The Mission of Historic Rosedale Foundation is threefold: to educate, to preserve and to continue to build a more diverse and inclusive platform for interpretation. We shall: 1) Present an authentic view of five generations of the Frew, Caldwell and Davidson families, and the enslaved and free African Americans that lived and worked on the land; 2) Preserve and interpret the 1815 historic house and the surrounding buildings emphasizing the important role these white and black families held in Charlotte, NC; 3) Provide and maintain a peaceful green space with Treasure Trees, garden borders, native and heirloom plants within a highly developed urban corridor.
