St. Paul’s Golf Charity Classic History

 

Over the past 25 years the St. Paul’s Golf Classic has evolved into the great charity fundraiser it is today. In 2001, the golf committee set up a financial aid fund to support the Catholic education families in need. Since its inception, the Golf Classic has contributed over $350,000 through the generous support of our sponsors. Please come join in the fun and help support this great cause! 501C3

 

Our Goal

 

Our goal this year is to raise $50,000. The scholarship fund is in memory of long time golf committee member and friend Ron Schwartz. The fund is now known as the St. Paul’s Charity Golf Classic. Please try to participate in this year’s event by playing, becoming a sponsor, or donat­ing a prize. We thank you in advance for your generous contribution.

Day of Event Information

Format: 

  • Long Drive and closest to the Pin Competition on the Simulator
  • Men and Women Brackets - Cash Prize of $100
  • Closest to the Pin on the Golf Simulator:  A hole in One  wins’ $1000

In case of multiple winners: 

Contestants will compete in a shoot out to determine the winner

  • Chipping Contest into a Yeti Cooler with a chance to win the cooler
  • Putting Contest
  • Live Band Entertainment throughout the Night
  • Live Stream of the Kentucky Derby with ticket window
  • Best Dress Golf / Derby Attire
  • Food and Drinks will be provided
  • Silent Auction and Whisky Room (Closes at 9 PM)
  • All Competition Winners and Raffle Drawings will be announced at 9 PM
