Description

Due to the incredible response at Drop-In History: Black History Month, we are continuing the conversation this Juneteenth with a special event focused on the lives of the Black individuals who were enslaved by the Wornall family at the John Wornall House.

This free, drop-in style event invites you to engage with this vital history through our Black experience audio guide, historical artifacts related to enslavement, and special exhibit signs. The educational signage and materials will remain consistent with those featured in February’s event, allowing returning visitors to revisit or more deeply explore this content.

As part of the Drop-In History series, this program reflects Wornall/Majors House Museums' commitment to making history accessible, engaging, and inclusive. Whether you’re returning or joining us for the first time, we welcome all ages and learning styles to explore this important chapter of local history in a relaxed and thoughtful environment.
