Description

Perennial Cycle is the largest dynamo specialist in the US and Karl and Luke lead that charge at Perennial. Karl designed and built the shop's Dynamo Lab where he and Luke test all things dynamo to better understand the advantages and disadvantages of the products that Perennial Cycle is selling..

David Dean is a pioneer in the world of dynamo lighting. David's company Sinewave Cycles is the leading brand for products that use dynamo power to charge devices and light the path ahead. Bike campers throughout the world are familiar with the Sinewave brand (especially the Beacon Headlight).

Ellie is moderating the webinar. Ellie is Perennial's Ride Organizer and a  dynamo super-user. Her first wheel build used a Schmidt SON28 dynamo hub.

This Dynamo Who, What & Why Webinar is for anyone considering adding dynamo to your bike, or those that have it, but would like to understand it better.
Whether you are a city commuting cyclist, a bike camper that dreams about doing Tour Divide, or a randonneur training for Paris-Brest Paris, you are sure to understand how dynamo power can make your rides better after joining this webinar.

Ellie (Perennial Ride Organizer) will be the webinar's admin as well as the moderator.
Luke (Perennial Owner) starts with a basic introduction into dynamo power/lighting and why you might want it on your bicycle.

Karl (Perennial Dynamo Specialist) will run through some of the science behind dynamo power and help us understand what dynamo power is. He'll have a few graphs that will show some differences between systems

David (Owner Sinewave) will give us examples of how dynamo has expanded what his bicycle is used for and point out who could benefit from adding dynamo to their bike.

There will be scheduled time for Q & A. Bring your questions.

This is a FREE ticketed event. To join us please grab a ticket here. Thanks : )
