Description
A full day of meditation practice, hosted by the Eastern Sun Sangha, at Wesley United Church in the Paul LeDrew Room from 8:30am-5pm on Saturday, February 28, 2026. Our group leaders will provide guided meditation and an afternoon Dharma talk with group discussion.
Early Registration is now open with itinerary details to be confirmed.
Meditation instruction is based on the Buddhist Rinzai Zen tradition. A ceremonial tea service and chanting will open the practice of silent meditation with alternating intervals of sitting and walking.
Further details will be provided regarding the group study, and additional features, including a gentle movement practice to start the day, and also after lunch, which is included.
In person at Wesley United Church on Patrick Street in the Paul LeDrew Room. Accessible entrance and parking on site.
This offering is open and supportive to practitioners of all faiths and belief systems.
Candles and incense are generally used throughout the retreat.
The cost is $50/day or $30/half day. Lunch with tea/coffee is included.
