Description

This course will cover background, reproduction and growth of young, rescue and Injuries, hand rearing, a short section on rescue of goannas and hands on (Swap Stories).
 
The presenter is Dr. Peggy Rismiller, Pelican Research & Wildlife Centre, Kangaroo Island, School of Biological Sciences, The University of Adelaide. 
 
Peggy was born in rural Ohio and received both her Masters and PhD in Biology in Germany.
In 1988 she immigrated to Australia, made Kangaroo Island her home and began life history studies on echidnas, tiger snakes and goannas.

This workshop is subsidised by the generous donation towards training from the Lin Huddleston Charitable Foundation.
 

Cost will be $10 for financial members    $35 for non-members    Children under 16 years  Free
