Join Echoes, The American Pink Floyd, as they celebrate the 50th anniversary of Pink Floyd's "The Dark Side of the Moon"!  This unique concert experience will be as much a feast for the eyes as for the ears! It's going to be sensory overload as they team up with the Laserists of SELEM to provide a unique visual experience like a Planetarium Floyd show on steroids! International award-winning laserists from around the US and a former Disney Imagineer will be joining Echoes to perform live with the band using a mix of laser abstracts, beams, scan-through effects and video synthesis to take you on a Pink Floyd journey unlike anything you've ever experienced!

Echoes is producing this show in conjunction with The Executive Conference Center, Pipefitters Local 74, and SELEM laserists..  There will be a cash bar with beer, wine, soft drinks and mixed drinks available.  Come early and have a drink with the band and laser crew!  Doors open at 7:00 and the concert and laser show start at 8:00 and run approximately 3 hours, with one 15 minute intermission.

*WARNING:  "This show will be using intense laser and strobe effects, moving video images and haze.  Patrons that may suffer from visual light stimulation effects are advised to contact the Front of house staff, prior to entering the auditorium!"

Meet some of the rock star laserists and lighting specialists who will be making this show absolutely incredible!

Rick HellmanRick likes lasers and is a dedicated, albeit a little obsessive, hobbyist in way over his head. He was lucky to be in the right place at the right time to take over a long running Pink Floyd tribute band gig in Texas from an industry legend.  One laser turned to three then to five and, well you can imagine the rest.  When he’s not engaging in this photonic foolishness, he works as a systems consultant for Hewlett-Packard Enterprise.

Christopher Short is a laser artist from Santa Fe, New Mexico in the USA. He is an award-winning laser artist who has designed and built his own laser equipment and has produced laser shows that have been seen around the world. He is well-known and highly respected in the professional laser show industry.
David Zurcher, Jacksonville, FL. I became a laser hobbyist after seeing my first Pink Floyd laser show in a planetarium in 1994. My greatest experience was performing lasers for a Bo Bice concert in Guantanamo Bay Cuba for the troops. The opportunity to perform lasers for The Echoes Pink Floyd American Tribute Band will undoubtedly surpass that experience!

We love the music of Pink Floyd. I mean really love it. So when we set out to create a Pink Floyd tribute, it had to be good. Really good. The music deserves it and Pink Floyd fans deserve it. YOU deserve it. So we set about making a check list: Three uber talented backup singers to do all the great vocals on Wish You Were Here and Dark Side? Check. A rocking sax player to cover all Dick Parry’s great saxophone parts? Check. Three guitar players to do all the intricate guitar harmonies on The Wall and Animals? Check. A killer keyboard player to cop not only the playing of Rick Wright but also the intricate keyboard and synthesizer sounds? Check. And a solid rhythm section to hold it all together? Check.

But we didn’t stop there. We set about recreating all the sound effects and soundscapes so essential to recreating Pink Floyd’s music. Screams, heartbeats, plane crashes and the “secret message” - it’s all there! Then we hired a lighting designer to add an awesome light show tuned to the music. Then we brought in a certified laser operator with over twenty years experience to make the light show just that much more... well.... Floydian. But we weren’t done yet. Then we added almost 3 hours of live and animated video content to project on to our custom made, 10 foot round video screen. Whew!

But let’s get back to the music. Light shows and videos are great, but Pink Floyd is first and foremost about music. If the music isn’t performed well, with energy and passion, no amount of lights and lasers will help. We work very hard to give you a show that is worth the money, worth your time, worth the music. Come out and let us wow you and help us keep live Pink Floyd music alive and well, done right, done with passion, done with respect for the music. Done for you. Shine On!
