Description

With a little education, everyone can be successful at gardening!

The Master Gardeners kick the year off with a workshop featuring presentations and information booths related to edible gardening in Collin County. The goal is to offer the public opportunities to learn from veteran vegetable gardeners and local experts through lectures and hands-on displays.

The program consists of several presentations from local expert speakers on edible gardening-related topics including what to plant, when to plant, and other success factors for vegetable and herb gardening in our area. Between presentations, in-person attendees can visit information tables hosted by the Master Gardeners to ask questions and get more info about soils, irrigation, and other related topics.

Collin County Master Gardener Association (CCMGA) is a service organization comprised of community members passionate about promoting research-based horticultural practices. They care for their own landscapes and work towards spreading awareness in the community.
