About Eireann’s Call
With a sound perfect for concert halls or the festival stage, Eireann's Call draws from the rich wellsprings of Scottish, Irish, Welsh and Galician music, and adds World Music elements. Their instrumentation includes: bagpipes, fiddle, accordion, Scottish Pennywhistles, keyboard, guitars, bass, drums and tight vocal harmonies. The sound ranges from sweeping, symphonic Gaelic songs to powerful bagpipe rock to traditional Celtic songs arranged non-traditionally to driving fiddle tunes with a muscular rock backup. Eireann's Call frequently receives compliments on the rich and ever-changing variety of their sound. At once unique and unforgettable yet familiar and always powerful.
