Description
Elf (2003 PG)
December 22nd - 7pm
Elf is a heartwarming Christmas comedy starring Will Ferrell as Buddy, a human who accidentally crawls into Santa’s sack as a baby and is transported to the North Pole. Raised by Santa’s elves, Buddy grows up believing he is one of them, despite being much taller and less skilled at toy-making than his fellow elves. When he discovers the truth about his origins, Buddy travels to New York City to find his biological father, Walter Hobbs, a busy businessman who is on Santa’s naughty list. Armed with an oversized elf costume, an endless supply of Christmas cheer, and an innocent outlook on life, Buddy struggles to fit into the fast-paced world of New York City.
As Buddy attempts to build a relationship with his skeptical father and new family, his enthusiasm leads to a series of hilarious mishaps and unexpected adventures. From decorating a department store with extravagant Christmas displays to spreading holiday cheer wherever he goes, Buddy reminds those around him of the joy and wonder of the season. Filled with laugh-out-loud comedy, memorable moments, and a heartwarming message about family and believing in the magic of Christmas, Elf has become a modern holiday classic that audiences of all ages love to revisit year after year.
