A renowned musician and revered educator, Clarence Johnson III is a jazz virtuoso of its many forms. With numerous recording and film credits to his name, Johnson's influence can be felt throughout New Orleans and beyond. He is an exemplary artist and performer, having been named the "Best of the Beat - Best Saxophonist" by Offbeat Magazine twice. We' thrilled to have him on the Ellis Marsalis Center stage.

Ticket Pricing Update: For 13 years, we have been proud to offer discounted senior tickets for just $3. Beginning in September 2026, senior tickets will increase to $10 to help sustain the quality of the musical experiences we offer. Proceeds from every ticket sold directly support the musicians performing on our stage as well as help sustain our education program and community services. Thank you for your continued support.
Special discounted tickets are available for senior citizens and New Orleans residents receiving SNAP benefits. A valid benefits card and photo ID required to purchase discounted tickets for $3.00 per person. Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets can be purchased online but must be redeemed at the door by showing valid ID.
Guests are welcome to take photos and short video clips for personal enjoyment. When sharing on social media, we appreciate if you could tag both the Center and the artist. Please be aware that the Center retains the right to restrict photography and videography upon the request of artists or performers. Commercial photography and videography are strictly prohibited, and the use of flash is not allowed. Thank you for your cooperation.
