EMINAE Roundtable: Seeing Your Business Through a Buyer's Eyes
Every buyer sees your business differently than you do. Understanding that perspective can mean the difference between maximizing value and leaving money on the table.
Join us on September 15, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Citrin Cooperman, 50 Rockefeller Plaza for an in-person, practical Lunch & Learn designed for business owners and executives. Learn how seeing your business through a buyer's eyes can help protect your transaction, why a sell-side Quality of Earnings (QoE) review pays off, and how addressing financial issues early can strengthen your negotiating position and maximize cash proceeds.
We are honored to have Ardi Nugraha, Director at Citrin Cooperman, as our featured speaker. Ardi is a director in Citrin Cooperman’s Transaction Advisory Services practice based out of the New York office. Ardi brings over 16 years of accounting, finance, corporate development, and leadership experience to the Firm.
Ardi has a diverse professional background which includes roles as an advisory managing director with a boutique advisory firm and a corporate development lead with Fortune 200 company. He has extensive experience working with internal corporate decision makers, strategic buyers / sellers, and private equity firms, supporting and advising them throughout the entire M&A lifecycle. His experience spans from leading end-to-end cross-functional diligence, M&A transaction management, financial due diligence for buy-side and sell-side, business performance improvement, financial modeling, synergy realization, purchase agreement development, to post-close finance and accounting operations support.
What you will learn:
Start preparing early – Business owners should address financial and accounting issues before receiving/signing an LOI.
Headline value does not equal cash proceeds – The final amount received can differ significantly from the initial valuation.
Normalized EBITDA can materially affect value – Even a small EBITDA adjustment can have a much larger impact when multiplied by the deal multiple.
A sell-side Qo helps avoid surprises – It identifies issues early, improves credibility, and strengthens the seller’s negotiating position.
