The Verdi Requiem lives on as one of the most monumental works in the choral/orchestral repertoire. The dramatic music takes the listener on a journey through darkened prayer, blazing judgement, and shimmering hope in a portrayal of humanity’s longing for enduring peace and light in an uncertain world.
