Description
Ensnared is an original aerial and dance production that tells the story of Eden, a young girl growing up in a busy and chaotic world. As she feels the heaviness of those around her, she grows distant from the paradise God first created in the Garden with Adam and Eve. Drowning in the pressures and lies of the world, she cries out for something better - but doesn't know the Source to run to.
As the story unfolds, we encounter God’s unwavering faithfulness as a loving Father who never leaves, never forsakes, and delights in each of His children. Ensnared celebrates the beauty of being known by God, discovering the unique gifts He has placed within us, and experiencing true joy when we begin to see ourselves through His eyes.
Through powerful movement, compelling storytelling, and breathtaking artistry, this Christ-centered production explores the struggle with identity, pressure, and distraction–and the life-changing experience of encountering Jesus.
Performed by the Creative Leaders Academy students of Reclaiming Arts, with special appearances by Reclaim Dance Company, Ensnared blends dance and aerial arts into a visually stunning and deeply moving experience. It's more than a performance—it’s an invitation to step out of the darkness, embrace hope, and remember who you were created to be.
