The acclaimed concert film featuring long-lost footage from Elvis Presley’s life is coming to Liberty for 1 Night Only.... EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert
Director Baz Luhrmann also helmed 2022’s Elvis, starring Austin Butler, which grossed $289 million worldwide and earned eight Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture and Best Actor for Butler. He also directs the latest documentary on the King’s life.
Much of the film showcases previously unseen footage that Luhrmann uncovered in an underground salt mine in Hutchinson, Kansas, at a Warner Bros. storage facility, where 65 reels of unused material from the 1970s documentaries Elvis: That’s the Way It Is and Elvis on Tour had been preserved.
