Equine-Assisted Mindfulness and Rejuvenation Workshop for Women
As a woman, you often juggle relentless stress and burnout from mastering countless roles and responsibilities, leaving you feeling depleted and frustrated. This summer, join us for an intimate morning of equine-assisted mindfulness and rejuvenation, limited to just 4 participants for a personalized and deeply connective experience. Our simple, transformative program empowers you to reclaim your resilience and restore your well-being. Designed with practical, evidence-based tools, this experience blends mindful practices with the natural biofeedback of horses to foster deep self-awareness and renewal. No horse experience is required, making this accessible to all participants.
What to Expect
In this half-day workshop, you’ll learn to recognize your stress signals and discover how horses mirror your internal state, offering profound insights. Guided by trained facilitators, you’ll explore how to interpret horses’ movements and behaviors—such as ear positioning, body posture, or subtle shifts—to understand how they reflect your emotions, fostering self-awareness and emotional clarity in a safe, supportive environment. The schedule is as follows:
9:00 AM: Gather by the pond for a continental breakfast, connecting with your small group of 4 participants in a serene setting to set a calm tone for the day.
9:30 AM: Engage in mindful yoga to center your body and mind, setting intentions for personal growth and relaxation.
10:30 AM: Enjoy a one-on-one session with your horse in a safe, controlled environment. Participate in a grooming and mindfulness exercise, guided to observe and interpret your horse’s movements (e.g., ear flicks, head tilts, or stepping patterns) and how they mirror your emotional state, fostering a deeper connection and self-reflection.
11:15 AM: For those ready, saddle up for a guided horseback ride along a peaceful nature trail, releasing built-up stress and embracing calm. No prior riding experience is needed, as our team ensures a safe, beginner-friendly experience.
This supportive journey is not therapy but a nurturing opportunity to build lasting self-care habits for navigating today’s challenges. Horses offer a unique sense of peace and fulfillment, reflecting your emotions through their movements and behaviors, which you’ll learn to interpret with guidance. Our goal is to help you craft a personal sustainability plan that fosters long-term resilience and well-being.
