Description

Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum (evergreenmuseum.org) offers air and space-themed day camps for K-5th graders during Yamhill County in-service days. Providing families with a full schedule of activities and learning experiences, the Day Camp is designed to be a fruitful alternative to finding quality day care or educational engagement on these sudden school district mandated days off.

A student works on a hands-on space-themed project during Camp while another observes. 

Our Day Camps are led by professional museum educators and include tours, STEAM activities, and tons of fun! We are targeting school districts within Yamhill County but will serve anyone in the greater Oregon area. For a shareable PDF copy, go here.

Proposed Schedule (subject to change)

  • 8:15-8:30 am: Drop-Off at Space Museum
  • 8:30-9:30 am: STEAM Activities
  • 9:30-10:00 am: Morning Break/Snack
  • 10:00-11:00 am: Explore Aviation Museum
  • 11am-12:00pm: Lunch and Recess
  • 12:00-1:00 pm: Explore Space Museum
  • 1:00-1:30 pm: Afternoon Break/Snack
  • 1:30-2:30 pm: STEAM Activities
  • 2:30-3:00 pm: Clean-Up and Wind-Down
  • 3:00-3:15 pm: Pick-Up at Space Museum

Prices: 

Early Bird Pricing (available when purchasing more than 1 week in advance)

  • $75 for the full day
  • $85 for camp + lunch included

Regular Pricing (when purchasing within 7 days of each camp date)

  • $85 for the full day
  • $95 for camp + lunch included

The Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum is a world-class center for aerospace education, exhibits, and experiences.
