Thursday, October 2 
Opening Night: DMV Taste & Talent 

Evening Entertainment (7:00 PM – 10:00 PM) 

  • A culinary tour of DC’s local favorites (Wings with Mumbo sauce, Horace and Dickies, Steak and Cheese Egg Rolls, crabs, oxtail pizza, Kenny’s Kale, half-smokes, Pro Cakes)
  • Live music and Comedy
  • A night to celebrate creativity, culture, and connection

 

Friday, October 3 – FOE Secret Mission: DC Spy Scavenger Hunt

🕘 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Instead of classroom sessions, participants will embark on a city-wide “Spy Mission” — a themed scavenger hunt across Washington, DC. Teams will race to uncover hidden history, snap memorable photos, and collect unique items that showcase DC’s culture, landmarks, and legacy.

Team Setup:

  • Teams of 4–6 participants.
  • Each team will receive: a Metro SmartTrip card, an Uber gift card, and a FOE Spy Fanny Pack.

Instructions:

  1. Each team will be given a mission sheet with 20 tasks to complete. Tasks include a mix of photos, items, and creative challenges across DC.
  2. Teams may travel by Metro, Uber, or on foot.
  3. Each completed task must be documented with either a photo (team included when possible) or the physical item.
  4. Every task has a point value. More challenging or significant sites are worth more points.
  5. All teams must return to the designated meeting spot by 1:00 PM sharp. Points will be tallied, and the winning team will be crowned “Top Agents.”
  6. The hunt is designed to take about 3.5–4 hours, with built-in travel time and task completion.

Friday Night – F.O.E. Night Shift (7:00 PM – late)

Saturday – Celebration Group Excursion

Instead of multiple excursion tracks, all participants will experience this celebration together.

  • Brunch at Milk & Honey (10:00 AM) 
  • Winery Experience (1:00 PM) 

A day of food, fellowship, and celebration in one shared experience.

Unity Dinner Evening Dinner (7:30 PM)
