The Ballad of Cactus Rose - Written by Sean Lakey - Adapted from the story of The Magnificent Seven
When a ruthless tycoon destroys the town of Cactus Rose, a young girl sets out across the frontier to find help. What she discovers are six legendary women of the Wild West: Calamity Jane, Annie Oakley, Stagecoach Mary, Etta Place, Belle Starr, and Madame Dumont—each with their own past, their own fight, and one final chance at redemption. The Ballad of Cactus Rose blends real-life legends with fiction in a sweeping story of courage, justice, and the will to stand tall for those who need help the most.
Each show is forty minutes and features the talents and skills of the Asheville School performing arts department.
