Join Bridger Hahn of Full Moon Blooms CB and Kathryn Waple with Gray Cat Botanicals in this hands-on workshop planning the Fall Flower and Herb Garden. The workshop will cover: 

-Seed starting basics

-Garden prep and design for hardy annuals

-Weed/ disease/ pest pressure management using organic/permaculture/regenerative gardening methods. 

 

 

About the Presenters: 

Bridger and Kathryn share a genuine love for supporting folks on their path to finding more joy, peace, and vitality through growing and using nourishing herbs. Strengthening your connection to the earth through slowing down, and digging deep.

Kathryn Waple is the owner and founder of Gray Cat Botanicals.  She teaches classes on how grow, make extracts from and  use medicinal herbs for the benefit of the whole family using soil building and environmentally conscious techniques.  She incorporates native, local and wild plants into her classes and products to make working with plants easily accessible for people of all experience levels. 

Bridger Hahn is the founder, owner and grower of Full Moon Blooms CB. She is committed to growing beautiful flowers while regenerating and healing the soil through organic and best practices.  Her gardens are lush and abundant thanks to the simple yet nourishing practices she has adopted throughout the years. Building community through gardening and mindfulness are driving forces of Full Moon Blooms. Her flowers adorn weddings,, ceremonies, and simple moments of remembering and honoring our everyday life. moments.

Kathryn Sisler Waple

Certificate in the Fundamentals of Herbalism from Appalachian School of Holistic Herbalism; Apprentice with Corinna Wood of Red Moon Herbs;

BA in English from UNCW, certificate in High School Education

Kathryn Waple is an herbalist who has been working with plants for more than 15 years. Her passion is in teaching people about how to use and grow medicinal herbs safely and easily for the benefit of the whole family. She teaches classes on growing, harvesting and using medicinal herbs.

"Learning about herbalism and natural/alternative health is a form of community activism. I think it is a crucial part of bringing people together. I would like to infuse the local community with a sense of responsibility and support for individual health. Being able to heal yourself is an empowering act that lays a foundation for the ability to heal your community."
