Fall Season U-Pick

Description

U-pick apples are the hallmark of fall at Jeter Mountain Farm! Ranging from September 3 - November 1, fall season offers over 25 varieties of apples over the course of the season. Here's what you need to know to be ready for your u-pick experience: 

• A reservation includes one wooden U-pick basket, wagon rides(s) to the orchard, and orchard entry and apple picking for up to 4 people. For groups over 4, you need to either purchase additional U-Pick baskets, or up to 2 extra pickers can be added per basket for $5 each at the farm.

• You are able to redeem your reservation at any time within the time block you selected, and apple picking does not have to conclude within this time block.

• Your reservation does not determine the apple variety that you will u-pick at the farm. The apple varieties available for u-pick are announced on our website and social media every Monday for that week. You are welcome to combine multiple varieties into the same u-pick basket.

• You do not need a u-pick reservation to visit the farm, and are welcome to arrive at the farm before your u-pick time slot.

• When you are ready to begin your u-pick experience, your party must all be together before approaching the Apple Depot to redeem your reservation and receive your u-pick basket. We encourage your group to use the restroom before doing so, and to bring water with you into the orchards while picking.

• Our u-pickers are only able to go into the orchards at the rate that our tractors can transport them there, so it is likely there will be a short wait at the Apple Depot before beginning your u-pick experience. Typically a line forms at the beginning of each time slot, but because your reservation guarantees your timed entry into the orchard, we encourage you to go grab a coffee or snack if you see a line and coming back later in the time block you reserved entry within. You don't need to wait in the line if you don't want to. And remember, here at the farm a line that looks long usually moves pretty fast. :)

The farm is open during its fall season Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 10a-5p. We are also open Labor Day, Monday, September 7 from 10a-5p.
