Description
This Fall, we invite the community to join us for a Fall Work Day on Saturday, October 18th from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the grounds of the Smith-McDowell House! We will be offering a variety of tasks on the grounds and around the 1840 historic home. Whether you are tidying the flower beds for the upcoming Winter or dusting away cobwebs, we can use your help!
The Work Day will begin at 11:00 a.m. and end at 3 p.m.. We will offer snacks and water to all volunteers, however, we do also recommend bringing a bagged lunch if you would like something substantial. Each Volunteer to join us will receive two complimentary admission ticket vouchers to visit the museum on any day of normal operations. At 1 p.m., we will invite Volunteers to break and learn more about the Smith-McDowell House and how their volunteer work makes a difference.
