Explore the world of Jewish comics, inspired by JewCE! Families are invited to learn about comic history, tell their own story in a comics workshop led by CJM's own Misha D. Clive (they/them), and uncover the secret behind Batman’s origins with author and speaker Marc Tyler Nobleman (he/him).

Scheduled Events: 

10am - Comics workshop with Museum Educator Misha D. Clive (they/them) 

11am - Hear from local author and speaker Marc Tyler Nobleman (he/him) 

12pm - Comics workshop with Museum Educator Misha D. Clive (they/them) 

Drop in Activities: 

Read a selection of comics and graphic novels from our JewCE Kids Library

Explore the Ongoing Exhibitions with a Super Scavenger Hunt

Design pages for the CJM Kid’s Zine, or make your own Zine to take home

Use markers, stickers, stencils, collage supplies, and more to craft a comic, either on your own or in the workshops

Learn about Book Bans and get involved in the fight against them by writing a letter to your local school board or favorite banned author

Admission to the special exhibition requires an additional ticket.
