LARDER AT HOME looks to fermentation and other pre-industrial food preservation techniques as a way to help home cooks eat local with the seasons year-round. In addition to live workshops like this one, chef Helena del Pesco offers self-paced online video courses at The Fermentation School.

Farm Tour and 5 Course Dinner with Chef Helena del Pesco & Farmer Elisa Lane
Arrive at 4:30 for an herbal aperitif and tour of flower beds, currant bushes and paw paw trees with farmer Elisa Lane. Then join us at 6pm for creative dishes that celebrate the peak flavors of summer. Chef del Pesco's menu will be inspired by the best produce local farms have to offer and her travels in Mexico, Spain and the Middle East. The menu will include an aperitif and non-alcoholic beverages and guests are welcome to bring wine, beer or other alcoholic beverages of their choosing. This event is limited to 50 seats. We will do our best to accommodate dietary restrictions but may not be able to honor all requests due to the nature of the event.
