Description
Join us for a workshop to help create a more sustainable food system in Sussex.
Share your ideas and insights on creating collaborative twinning partnerships between agroecological farmers and local schools & communities.
The Twinning Project aims to create meaningful long-term connections between communities and their local farms. Through farm visits and regular produce purchases, we hope communities will cultivate a deeper appreciation for where their food comes from and support for local agriculture.
This pilot seeks to explore the potential benefits, challenges, and necessary steps involved in creating these sustainable relationships.
The workshop provides a platform for farmers to share their feedback on what's required to create a successful twinning program.
Key Discussion Points:
- Obstacles and advantages for Farmers & Producers
- Understanding available produce and capacity
- Identify training and facility needs
By participating in this workshop, you can help shape the future of the Twinning Project and contribute to building a more sustainable and connected local food system.
