Description
MEMBERS ONLY (due to COVID restrictions) so that we can ensure compliance with the current Covid19 safe distancing protocols for the venue and can change the venue if necessary.
Tea and coffee provided.
We will be having a guest speaker this year - Helen Smith - who will be talking about our Strategic Plan, which she has assisted the Committee to develop, along with Paul Stevenson, CEO of the RSPCA.
If you wish to nominate for the Committee, please email the Secretary at admin@faunarescue.org.au for a nomination form and return it by COB 11th July 2021.
The Agenda for the AGM will be sent out prior to the meeting.
Eligibility to nominate for Committee:
Clause 6.1 in the Fauna Rescue Constitution:
Management is vested in the committee of not less than 10 and not more than 15 members who have been members of the association for at least 12 months immediately prior to nomination and have been active either as wildlife carers or participating on a Fauna Rescue Sub-committee for at least three (3) months.
Eligibility to vote at the AGM:
Clause 13.2 in the Fauna Rescue constitution
All members over 18 years who have been a member for a minimum period of 6 months may vote at a general meeting. Each such member shall have one vote only.

Fauna Rescue of SA Inc is a not for profit organisation made up entirely of volunteers working from their own homes to rescue, rehabilitate and release Australia's native wildlife. We receive no government funding and must raise our funds through public donation and fundraising events.
