Description

Learn to create the ultimate cheese board with perfect drink pairings in this workshop with cheese-expert Patrick.

Be quick if you want to join our popular cheese and wine event - led by top food writer Patrick McGuigan and wine expert Helen Chesshire. We can't wait to welcome this fun duo back to the Kitchen after their previous sold-out events.

In this special class, Patrick will share his tips for selecting the best cheeses and you will taste some of Patrick's favourites - all made by small farmhouse and artisan cheesemakers - and go home reassured that there's more to life than port and stilton at Christmas.

You will taste five cheeses in total, and alongside Helen will offer some award-winning still and sparkling wines as she reveals how you can complement your creations with the best in wines and spirits.

This is great seasonal prep for impressing your guests this Christmas – or maybe just for readying yourself for a little indulgence by the fireside this holiday.

Patrick McGuigan is a Brighton-based food journalist & cheese writer for a range of national titles. His second book, The Cheese Life will be released this autumn and available for purchase at the event, and includes recipes, cheeseboard and drink matching ideas, alongside insights into how cheese is made. Patrick is a senior judge at the World Cheese Awards, a member of the Guild des Fromagers, teaches Academy of Cheese training courses at the School of Fine Food in London and also runs the Online Cheese School.

Helen Chesshire is a wine and spirits expert with more than 20 years experience, working with some of the biggest names in the business. She is the brand ambassador for Bolney Wine Estate in West Sussex, which was established in 1972 and the team now produce award-winning still and sparkling wines.
