Discover the joy of traditional Swedish holiday baking while learning skills and recipes you can recreate at home. From beautifully shaped fika pastries to crisp homemade knäckebröd, you'll create delicious bakes that are perfect for sharing with family and friends throughout the festive season.
Working in pairs you will:
Learn how to make traditional Swedish fika dough from scratch with a selection of festive fillings
Create crisp homemade knäckebröd (Swedish crackers). Thread them with ribbon to create edible Christmas decorations for your table or tree.
Decorate your bakes with glazes and sparkles
Take home your freshly baked creations along with plenty of inspiration for your own festive celebrations
Children cannot attend unaccompanied.
One ticket must be booked for every attendee.
Adult and child tickets must be purchased together.

About your chef
Eloise started her career training in some of the UK’s tops restaurants. This training took her around the world, continuing to work in restaurants but also luxury chalets, villas, yachts and private residencies. She currently splits her time between ‘Chef Academy’ where she delivers skills workshops to apprentice chefs, as well as serving up delicious and sustainable private dinners, showcasing beautiful produce from local suppliers.
The Brighton & Hove Food Partnership's Community Kitchen is a cookery school where everyone can cook, learn new skills and enjoy food with others.
