Lester’s Farm Market has been a family tradition in St. John’s for generations, known for bringing fresh local produce, seasonal fun, and community spirit to the farm. In 2018, we decided to add a little extra thrill to the season with the very first Farm Haunt. What started as a spooky experiment has since grown into a highly anticipated Halloween experience, drawing brave visitors from near and far.
But the fun doesn’t stop when the sun is up! During the day, families can enjoy our Field of Fun—complete with a corn maze, giant slide, gem mining, tractor rides, pumpkin patch, and plenty of outdoor activities for kids (and kids at heart). It’s the perfect way to make lasting fall memories in a festive farm setting.
On October 18th, we’re also hosting our annual Pumpkinfest! This special event brings together games, activities, and of course, pumpkins—all while giving back to the community. Proceeds from Pumpkinfest support the R.E.A.L. Program and the Mount Pearl Sports Alliance, helping children and youth access sports, recreation, and play opportunities they might not otherwise have. It’s a celebration of fun, family, and community spirit, all for a great cause.
