Since 1994, English In Action’s mission has been to strengthen the quality of life for everyone in Colorado's Roaring Fork Valley by helping adult immigrants learn to read, write and speak English and by building cross-cultural relationships. The organization does this through one-on-one and small group tutoring and events, like Fiesta de Tamales, celebrating culture and diversity. As a result of these programs, adult learners are better able to advocate for themselves and their families, pursue their dreams, and emerge as community leaders.

Tickets are now on sale for Fiesta de Tamales! Admission is $35 for adults and $15 for children 12 and under. Prize drawing tickets are also available. Enter to win!*
English In Action’s Fiesta de Tamales is a family-friendly event that brings together hundreds of community members from different backgrounds for an authentic multicultural celebration. The Fiesta is a fun and affordable fundraiser, with all proceeds going directly to support English In Action’s mission to help adults learn English and foster a more cohesive community. Over 100 volunteers come together to make the event happen, and we anticipate 300+ guests this year for tamales, piñatas, an international food tasting (back by popular demand!), music, live entertainment from Aspen Santa Fe Ballet Folklórico, and MORE.
