"Heroineburgh Episode 21: Cities in Dust"  (53 min) produced and directed by Heroineburgh Productions

Heroineburgh is a live-action superheroine video series created entirely in Pittsburgh, PA. The Heroineburgh universe began in 2016, when a radioactive meteor exploded above a fantastic version of the Steel City, imbuing dozens of its female residents with amazing powers - some who use them to fight for truth and justice, and others for destruction or selfish gain. In 2019, the Heroineburgh series also began publishing in comic book form, and has since printed three issues, available in over 200 comic shops around North America. Episode 21 is the exciting conclusion to Season 2 of the series, and features the largest lineup of superpowered female characters in entertainment history. In this episode, the supervillainess Dark Spectra and her allies in the Black Faction muster up a force to directly attack the Heroine League at their headquarters in a bid to take over the city, setting the scene for an epic showdown.

Heroineburgh brings a wide range of influences to the table: Roger Corman, Russ Meyer and Sid & Marty Krofft; indie movie productions from comic creators George Perez and Bill Black (Fem Force); TV shows ranging from Batman '66 and Wonder Woman '77 to Xena and Black Scorpion, all the way to the Arrowverse, The Boys, and Invincible; the works of Filipino creator Mars Ravelo, especially Darna; and decades of comic books from both Marvel/DC and a host of indie companies. The spirit of Heroineburgh is encapsulated in the motto: "Action, adventure, drama, romance and comedy in the finest spandex and capes!"
