Financial Empowerment

Applications are now open for Session 5 of AIR’s Financial Empowerment Program—a six-month initiative designed to help local restaurant employees build real financial stability.  The deadline to apply is June 3rd. 

To apply for the Financial Empowerment Program, applicants must complete the linked application form and pay the $25 application fee. Applications will be reviewed by our coaches for selection into the program. 

Who can participate? To qualify, applicants must work at an AIR member restaurant (you can find participating restaurants in our directory here: https://airasheville.org/find-a-restaurant/) and have worked for an AIR member restaurant for at least six months, averaging 30+ hours per week.”

• A one-day kickoff workshop to create your personal financial plan

• Monthly group sessions + one-on-one coaching

• Help with budgeting, credit, retirement, and even starting a business

• A 2:1 savings match—up to $1,000
