Location:  Ryan Companies, 533 South Third Street, Suite 100, Minneapolis, MN 55415

Parking:  Park at the Stadium Ramp: 740 S. 4th Street, Minneapolis, MN 55415.  There is other parking in the area including street parking may be available. 

Exit the ramp and walk west along 3rd Street.  Enter the Millwright Building through the doors on the corner on 3rd Street and Portland.  You may also take the skyway from the 3rd floor of the parking ramp and to the Millwright building and you will take the elevator down to the Millwright building.  You will enter the space on the street level, enter the Ryan office directly to the right when you enter and then walk down the stairs to the Training room.

Scott Lang is an audit and accounting partner specializing in the construction and real estate industries. He believes in developing deep and long lasting relationships based on trust. Scott has served clients ranging in size from closely held joint ventures to large, accelerated public filing entities. He provides value to his clients through identifying opportunities for advancement in accounting, tax, technology, strategy and overall organizational performance, among others.

 

Mike Pierson is Principal at Dering Pierson Group, a WBENC-certified commercial general contractor based in Rogers, Minnesota. He leads the company’s efforts in delivering high-quality construction projects across office, industrial, hospitality, retail, and community sectors. Known for his commitment to integrity, client satisfaction, and team collaboration, Mike has helped build a strong reputation for the firm through successful projects. His leadership continues to drive the company’s growth and impact in the commercial construction industry.

 

Logan Carter is the Controller at Kraus-Anderson Construction Company, where he leads all accounting and finance functions and partners with executive leadership to align financial strategy with operational goals. With more than 15 years of experience in finance, including over a decade in the construction industry, Logan brings a unique blend of technical expertise and practical insight to his work. He began his career in public accounting with Moss Adams, where he specialized in audit and assurance services for construction and other industries. Logan holds a Master’s in Accounting from the University of Oregon (Go Ducks!) and a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Kansas (Go Jayhawks!). He currently serves as President of the CFMA Twin Cities Chapter, reflecting his commitment to advancing the finance profession within the construction sector.
