Description

Join the Religious Action Committee for a conversation with Isabel Burton, senior director of community engagement initiatives at HIAS. Isabel will discuss current conditions for immigrants in the U.S., with a focus on New York. We will also learn about local organizations working to protect the rights and dignity of all New Yorkers.

Learn how you can support asylum seekers and refugees — from advocating for New York state legislation to accompanying individuals to court and standing alongside them to help ensure their rights are respected.

This program is part of HIAS' Refugee Shabbat.
