Enjoy an afternoon of creativity with renowned contemporary folk artist, Billy Roper. Billy is an Appalachian native from the N. Georgia Mountains and a self taught painter, carver and wood sculptor. His wit and wisdom is legendary as evidenced by his extensive writings about family, faith, nature and life on the back of his paintings. You can pick out the design of a bird or fish that speaks to you and make it your own. Billy is generously offering his original art as samples and will visit with you while you paint, passing along painting tips and inspiration. Enjoy some snacks and drinks too!
