Join internationally award-winning photographer and writer Fiona Basile for a special afternoon in conversation celebrating her new book, The Next Wave. A sequel to Immerse, The Next Wave explores the beauty, healing and connection found within our local open-water swimming community through powerful photography and deeply personal stories.
Hosted by Robinsons Bookshop, the afternoon will feature Fiona in conversation about the making of the book, alongside a panel of swimmers featured in its pages, sharing what it was like to have their stories, vulnerabilities and experiences captured and preserved through words and images.
Whether you are drawn to the ocean, storytelling, photography, community, or simply love hearing authentic human stories, this promises to be a heartfelt and inspiring afternoon.
