Retired schoolteacher, Eleanor Bannister of Groverdell, TX is resolute in her independence as a life-long single woman. When a hole in her rood draws the attention of Abel Brown, the unexpected sparks of late-in-life romance start to fly and her controlled demeanor begins to crumble, proving that it's never too late for first love.
