First Aid Training for Emergency & Affordable Food Network Members

Description

This course will provide you with an Emergency First Aid at Work certificate. The course will teach you how to deal with choking, minor injuries, seizures, shock, burns and scalds, severe bleeding as well as cardio pulmonary resuscitation.

Who is the course for: Staff or volunteers of EFN or AFN member organisations who are providing food directly to the community. 

Cost: Free. One place per organisation.

Time: 10am-4pm (9:45 arrival for prompt 10:00am start)

What to bring: A form of ID, pen, paper, and enthusiasm!  Please bring your own lunch.

Venue: The Clubhouse, formerly Waterhall golf clubhouse, located on the outskirts of Brighton, just north of the A27. View directions for arriving by car, bus, cycling or walking, or have a look at the clubhouse location on Googlemaps.

 

Do not come if you are feeling unwell. We will operate a waiting list, so any advance warning if you feel that you are unlikely to make it means that we can invite others.
