Celebrating its 31st season in downtown Reno, Brüka Theatre is recognized for innovative productions, exceptionally talented artists, and the acclaimed Theatre for Children touring series since its founding in 1992. Central to Brüka is the commitment to the re-investigation of contemporary and classic plays and developing new plays within Brüka’s Artistic Collective, a group that includes winners of the Nevada Arts Council and Sierra Arts Foundation artist grants and nine local best actor honors. Brüka was named “Best Theatre Company” by Reno News and Review for twenty-one years. Flawed & Fabulous" is the exciting new Reno production exploring female friendships— where the audience has a say in Act 2. From Melodramatic to Mean, (and all that's in-between!) it's the Musical-Comedy-Improv show that must be seen! In Flawed & Fabulous, a group of fun, fierce, flirty, flaky, fearful, fancy females, (drawn together by a women's support group - led by an amateur wannabe therapist!) must navigate their individual and combined flaws (via song!) to find their way back to lifelong, healthy friendships. Will these "Flawesome" Gal-Pals flourish or flounder?
