Flogging Nola is taking the stage at The Broadside for a FREE St Patrick"s Day show.  Bringing the spirit of Irish and Boston Irish punk rock to New
Orleans, Flogging Nola is New Orleans’ premier 6-piece Irish punk powerhouse. Doors 5pm.  Show 6pm.

Flogging Nola specializes in high-energy tributes to the legends of the genre, blending traditional Celtic melodies with the raw intensity of street punk. Whether it’s the breakneck speed of Dropkick Murphys, the soulful folk-punk of The Pogues, or the anthemic roar of Flogging Molly, the band delivers an authentic, sweat-soaked performance every time they take the stage. Performing primarily on or around St. Patrick’s day, they also can be found celebrating their own holiday - Halfway to St. Patrick’s day - sometime in late September due to the fact that it’s too much fun to wait a whole year.

FAQ

  • The showtime listed for the event is the time the event starts. Doors will generally open an hour before the listed show time unless otherwise listed.
  • We allow pets during the day, but not at night for music (anything after 7pm). Service animals are always allowed
  •  Please do not park in the Broad Theater parking lot. We have a parking lot for The Broadside and plenty street parking available on Toulouse and Lafitte. If you would like to be escorted to your car, please ask the Sheriff on duty. You may also park in the Auto Zone parking lot if they are closed. 
  • Our outdoor space has a variety of seating options such as benches, picnic tables, chairs, and stools. If you require a seat for health reasons or disability, please ask a staff member and they can provide you with a chair.
