Description

Join the Earthenry Floral Design Team in the flower fields for a special midweek twilight workshop playing with flowers.

We understand how overwhelming it can sometimes be when you attend our regular flower picking sessions…. with all the beauty and colour on offer!

Let us help demystify the skill of choosing and combining colours, demonstrate the correct way to harvest fresh blooms for the longest vase life as well as the tricky art of arranging flowers on the go as you move around the farm. Not always as easy as it looks!

This session aims to be fun, relaxed and informal with lots of room for creativity and expression. It will also be crammed full of useful tips to increase your knowledge and boost your confidence ahead of your next solo picking session. 

Your ticket includes:

  • A large Earthenry pitcher to pick and arrange into.
  • A new pair of floral snips to take home.
  • A printed Earthenry arranging guide and tips to refer to.
  • Refreshments & nibbles

Wednesday 21st January // 6:30pm - 8:30pm

Thursday 5th February // 6:30pm - 8:30pm

This is the perfect workshop if you want to get the most out of your flower picking sessions at the farm. Also makes a great gift for a fellow Earthenry Flower Farm lover!

Here at Earthenry we grow over 100 different varieties of gorgeous seasonal flowers all nestled amongst beautiful gardens to explore during our open season events (October to April). Located in Lower Snug we are only a 25 minute drive south of Hobart and 5 mins from the Bruny Island ferry terminal.

From January to March, when our flowers are at their peak, we open weekly for 'Pick Your Own Flowers' and picnics on the lawns. Our Friday night twilight sessions with food, drinks and music are our most popular!

You can also book into one of our inspiring creative floral workshops or learn how we grow our flowers by attending one of our practical farming workshops. Our community volunteer gardening program Garden + Gossip runs every Friday during the off-season and welcomes new members!
