Come meet other Friends of Brookside Gardens (FOBG) members and learn what’s new in Brookside Gardens and Montgomery Parks. Learn how 30 years of your generosity (membership and donations) has helped and supported Brookside Gardens and its programs. There will be socializing, speakers, light refreshments, a silent auction of 2 beautiful pieces of artwork and plant giveaways.

SILENT AUCTION ART (YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO BID & WIN) - All purchases will be subject to 6% MD sales tax. ONLY credit cards will be accepted (no cash or checks).

Friends of Brookside Gardens

Friends of Brookside Gardens (FOBG) was founded in 1996 by a handful of enthusiastic gardening experts passionate about Brookside Gardens. FOBG has now grown to be an all-volunteer, independent, non-profit organization with nearly 1,000 members.

FOBG exists for one purpose: to support Brookside Gardens. We raise money to supplement the public funding for this “jewel in the crown” of our local Montgomery Parks system. To date, we’ve contributed over $2 million for plantings, educational programs, and sponsorship of Master Plan components. We also act as an advocacy voice so Brookside Gardens retains high visibility in the community.

Our membership program is the core of our continuing support. And we encourage donations, memorial gifts, and gift memberships. Each year, we also hold fund-raising events. For Brookside Gardens to maintain its current beauty and grow for the future, FOBG’s support is critical. And that support comes from you!
